Science & Research
Learn about the various types of scientific research in the field of fascia.
In January 2018, the Fascia Research Society, Somatics Academy, the Plastinarium, and Body Worlds embarked on a new collaborative journey to create the world‘s first, 3D Human Fascia Plastinates. Together, they are creating history as the Fascial Net Plastination Project. Directed by fascia research scientist Robert Schleip, professor of anatomy Carla Stecco, with the assistance of clinical anatomist John Sharkey, the project is taking place in Guben, Germany at the world-famous Plastinarium with director Dr. Vladimir Chereminskiy.
Here is a list of archived articles and videos from previous Congresses from 2007-2018, including scientific articles and videos from the FRS Congress dating back to 2007 to the present day.

Fascia Mapping Repository
The Fascia Mapping Repository is a long-term scientific initiative to develop a structured, anatomically organized repository of fascia-related knowledge. Its purpose is to support the systematic mapping of fascial structures, relationships, and associated research findings so that data can be organized in a way that is clinically meaningful, anatomically grounded, and usable for future research, education, and digital applications. Over time, this repository is intended to serve as a foundation for a more comprehensive fascia knowledge architecture that can support both human scholarship and computational tools.
About Fascia
FASCIA BACKGROUND
Fascia has both generalized and specialized functions in the human organism. As such, it is the subject of a wide range of scientific research with many specializations of focus and emphasis. Similarly, fascia and its properties are of central importance to clinicians practicing in various conventional therapies and in the wide range of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) modalities.
