Dr. Frank H. Willard holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology (1972) and a Master’s degree in Zoology and Cytogenetics (1974) from the University of Maine and a Doctorate of Philosophy Degree in Anatomy and Neurobiology from the University of Vermont (1980).
He completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Developmental Neuroanatomy from the Ohio State University in 1983. Since that time has obtained the rank of Professor in Anatomy at the University of New England and is serving as the Anatomy Discipline Director for the College of Osteopathic Medicine.
He is the Course Director for the medical anatomy course and the medical neuroanatomy course. He is a member of the American Academy of Osteopathy and the International Pain and Spine Intervention Society where he holds the rank of Master Instructor. His research is focused on understanding spine anatomy and innervation as it pertains to common neck and back pain presentations.
