Jo Phee, MSc

Jo is a Founding Member of the Fascia Research Society (since 2012) and an experienced conference organizer and event manager. She holds a Master’s degree with distinction in Psychology and Neuroscience from King’s College London and a degree in Business Marketing.

A dedicated fascia educator in movement science, Jo has a special interest in human anatomy and fascial dissection, with over 1,500 hours of dissection experience. She was part of the team of the Fascial Net Plastination Project, which developed the world’s first 3D plastinated human fascial exhibits at the Body Worlds Plastinarium in Guben, Germany.

Her expertise is regularly featured at international conferences. She served as Chair Host for the Biotensegrity Symposium Canada 2019 and presented at the Pink Fascia Conference 2021. She was an invited presenter at the International Fascia Research Congress 2025, where she delivered a sesssion titled Yin Yoga: The Science Behind Static Stretching – a static stretching modality she has taught for over two decades. Jo has taught in 45 cities across 20 countries and continues to travel internationally to train movement teachers in fascia science.
