The sold-out conference, attended by 800 people, was hosted by the Massage Therapists Association of British Columbia (MTABC).

The selection of the MTABC by the directors of the Fascia Research Congress, a project of the Ida P. Rolf Research Foundation, was a recognition of the excellence, quality and commitment of BC‘s Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs).

Three full days of scientific presentations were flanked by additional days of practical workshops, and a research training and project funding symposium.
